Meet Rusty – The Shy but Sweet Boy with a Gentle Heart
Rusty is a 5-year-old Black Griffon mix and the beloved brother of Bolt. Like his brother, he’s had a tough time recently after the passing of his previous owners, and he’s now searching for a loving home where he can start fresh.
Rusty is a little more timid and shy, often taking a step back to quietly observe before joining in. But once he feels safe and loved, his sweet and loyal personality begins to shine through. He’s soft-natured, sensitive, and loves gentle affection — a true sweetheart who just needs patience and kindness to blossom.
He’s good with people and children, always polite and gentle, and while he hasn’t been tested with cats, his calm demeanor suggests he could adjust with time and the right introductions.
Rusty would be happiest in a quiet, patient home where he can build confidence at his own pace — ideally with someone who understands that the best bonds are built slowly and full of trust. Once you earn his heart, you’ll have a devoted friend for life.

Due to an anticipated high volume of applications the adoption process is outlined below:
1. You must complete our Adoption Application Form by following the link to our website: https://www.all4pawsdogrescue.com.au/forms.html NOT THE PET RESCUE ENQUIRY BUTTON
2. Include as much information as possible and it is never a case of "first in best dressed" when we are choosing the most appropriate new home. Matching an animal with a family is based on lifestyle, family members, attitudes to pet ownership and the personality of the pet.
3. Due to the number of applications we receive all correspondence is through email and if your application is short listed we will either call you to discuss it further and possible invite you to a meet and greet.
