🐾 MEET TIMMY — A BIG HEART IN A LITTLE BODY 🐾

Please meet Timmy, a sweet-natured 9-year-old Jack Russell Terrier mix with a sparkling personality and a tail that never stops wagging. Even while impounded, he charmed everyone with his enthusiasm and gentle, hopeful nature.

Surrendered through no fault of his own when his family relocated, Timmy has adapted well in foster care and is proving to be an affectionate, clever and loyal little companion. Born 22 January 2016 and weighing 12.3 kg, he may be deeply middle-aged, but he’s still active and full of character.

Timmy loves people and has always been an inside–outside dog, but he is happiest when he can be indoors close to his humans. He becomes anxious when left alone and would truly thrive with someone who is home most of the time. He gets along well with other dogs and has made friends with the males in his foster home.

He’ll need secure fencing, as he has a keen terrier instinct and cannot be safely let off-lead. His recall is not reliable, especially when he catches a scent. He will dig when left at home alone, which underlines his preference for having human company most of the time.

Timmy is a wonderful little dog — a great traveller, an easy walker, a good eater and a quiet companion. He simply needs the right home: calm, consistent, and with someone who can give him the closeness and reassurance he craves.
