About Little Ted
Meet Little Ted!
A beautiful 6 month old whippet mix.
Whippets are characterized by their gentle, affectionate, and calm temperament. While typically relaxed and serene at home, they can exhibit high energy and excitement when outdoors. Zoomies is often a favourite pastime! Originally bred as hunting and racing dogs, Whippets may a strong prey drive. Whippets can be quiet & reserved but also exhibit a playful side.
Little Ted had a bit of a rough start & came to us via the Inspectorate team. Despite this, he has a beautiful soft nature & loves to snuggle in close to his favourite hoomans.
Little Ted loves the company of other dogs & enjoys a good playdate. He is not a noisy or destructive boy & settles well in his pen. He would certainly prefer someone who is at home more often than not or a dog friend to keep him company if he is to be left for periods of time.
Little Ted is getting used to going out for walks. Occasionally he can be a little nervous as there is a whole big world out there that he's slowly getting used to. Slow, gentle exposure to new people, places & things is the best way to go so that he can make positive associations with new experiences.
This delightful, gentle boy deserves a loving family & we've promised him that we will find him the best one!
