Penelope is a beautiful easy going and soft natured girl that likes human company. This lovely feline has come a long way from her early challenges of life on the streets and finding herself pregnant and in need of help. Unfortunately for Penelope the pregnancy was medically unviable and needed medical assistance. She's made impressive progress since arriving at 2nd Chance Cat Rescue, where she's been given the support she needs to blossom into her best self.
Her friendly nature shines through in every playful interaction, whether she is independently chasing a ball or snuggling up for some cozy cuddles. Her cheeky side can be seen with her playful antics, keeping you entertained and enriching your life with feline joy.
She is young and with the right family, she holds great potential to becoming an even more affectionate, loyal companion.
If you're looking to offer a bright future filled with love to a deserving and charming young cat, Penelope is eager to meet you and make that vision a reality.
Penelope has grown up with other cats and if you are looking for a 2nd companion she is currently living with Brett and Lowanna.

As of 1st August 2025, our adoption fees will be adjusted to help cover rising vet and care costs. The new fees are as follows:

Kittens (1 vaccination): $400
Kittens (2 vaccinations): $450
Adult & Adolescent Cats (9+ months): $280
Breed cats will be listed with a separate adoption fee based on their individual profile.

Change of ownership is included in the adoption fee.

Thank you for your ongoing support in helping us care for and rehome the many cats and kittens that come through our rescue.

All 2nd Chance Cat Rescue cats are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated and come with a take home pack. We transfer the change of Ownership free of charge into your name.
