Bounty is a stunning Kelpie X who has recently returned to us recently. His previous owners reported some behavioral concerns, but we haven’t seen these issues while he’s been in our care. That said, we are aware that he is not an 'easy' dog and we do know he has a fear of ceiling fans, so his new family will need to keep this in mind. While Bounty’s striking looks are sure to attract a lot of attention, his perfect home will be chosen based on suitability, not just appearances. He needs an owner who truly understands kelpies and Border Collies—particularly those with a highly strung nature. Bounty is incredibly smart and thrives when his mind is kept busy through training and enrichment. He adores human company but isn’t keen on sharing his space with other dogs or cats, so he’ll need to be the only pet in the household. An adult-only home with people committed to providing him with structure, ongoing training, and mental stimulation will help him flourish. If you’re experienced with working breeds and ready to invest in this intelligent boy, Bounty could be your perfect companion!
