Meet Hank, a charismatic ginger fellow who’s the perfect companion!
Though he might hold back a little at first, once you start giving him some gentle attention he can't help but show his true colours - becoming a purring, cuddly buddy who thrives on affection! Hank's a bit of an explorer too, and he enjoys finding high places from which to survey his kingdom.
Very comfortable being picked up, he'll happily relax in your arms or by your side once he knows he’s safe and loved :) This gentle, beautiful and easygoing guy will make a wonderful addition to virtually any type of home!
Like all Maggie's pets, Hank is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I'm an old soul with a heart full of love, so I'll be happiest in a calm and understanding environment where I can continue to blossom at my own pace. My affectionate nature shines through during head rubs and quiet snuggles, and I'm quickly discovering the joys of cosy couch time.
Being a food-motivated boy, I'll eagerly bond over tasty treats and mealtime routines! I'm hoping to meet someone who enjoys sharing peaceful moments, offering gentle affection, and watching me grow in confidence every day. With patience and love, I'll reward my forever family with endless warmth, loyalty and purrs!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I adore long naps, especially in sunny spots! Sometimes I'll follow you around just to stay in the household loop, but given the choice I'll choose chill every time :) I haven't quite gotten the hang of playtime yet, but I suspect some keen toy-hunting and bird-watching are in my future!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Loud noises aren't my favourite thing, so any family looking to take me home with them will ideally have children aged 10+.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Since arriving in foster care I haven't spent time with other pets, though I did used to live with other cats in a colony. It's hard to know how I'd feel about sharing my space again, but we could always give it a try?

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
