About Bella
Meet Bella, the sweetest little shadow you'll ever meet, who came into care as an ex-breeding girl.
Bella is a 7 years old Toy Poodle weighing in at a dainty 5kg of pure love and charm. This little lady is the definition of a Velcro dog, where you go, she goes.
Whether you’re curled up on the couch, working at your desk, or just pottering around the house, Bella will be right there by your side, soaking up all the affection she can get (and perhaps gently nudging your hand if you dare to stop patting).
Bella is beautifully natured, calm, quiet, and irresistibly affectionate.
Bella’s a gentle soul who adores human company, especially children, and currently shares her foster home happily with a 7- and 9-year-old who think she’s pretty special.
She’s also perfectly polite with other small dogs and even the household cat, whom she’ll give a curious sniff before trotting off to find a comfy lap to snuggle into.
Bella’s fine around budgies too, proving she’s quite the easy-going little lady.
Bella is toilet trained, with the occasional accident, if unable to have access to outside, Bella’s got that mostly sorted and she’s reliable and tries her best.
Bella’s not a fan of crates for long periods but doesn’t mind having one as a cozy hideaway to relax in.
Bella’s energy level is low, making her ideal for a calm household that enjoys lazy cuddles and gentle routines over chaos and noise.
Bella loves a good run along the beach with another fur friend and loves to feel the wind in her fur! However, crowds when walking is still a bit nerve-wracking for Bella - the big wide world can be a little intimidating, and loud noises tend to ruffle her confidence.
With patience, love, and a calm doggy companion to show her the ropes, she’ll continue to find her paws and bloom beautifully.

She’ll melt into your arms for cuddles, gaze up at you with those adoring eyes, and make you feel like the most important person in the world.
She’s gentle, loyal, and full of heart!
Bella is the kind of dog who’ll curl up beside you during a movie, nap happily in your lap, and remind you every day what unconditional love really looks like.
Bella would suit a home where someone is around most of the time and where another calm small dog can be her best buddy and confidence booster. She truly thrives with company and routine, and in return, she’ll shower her humans with endless affection and loyalty.
Bella does have a coat that requires regular grooming so please make sure you remember that is a lifetime of grooming.
This sweet little girl is still blossoming each day she grows braver, softer, and more trusting. If you’re after a gentle companion who’ll make your home feel warmer, your heart fuller, and your lap a little more crowded, Bella just might be your perfect match.

Adoption details
Paw Prints Canine Rescue is a non for profit dog rescue located in Southeast Queensland.
All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption - each bio will state if available for adoption - please check before applying.
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 10 day trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
