Luka - 1-Year-Old Domestic Long Hair
Meet Luka, a sweet gentleman wrapped in a soft, silky black coat. At just one year old, Luka is a gentle soul who may take a little time to warm up, but once he does, he'll happily lean in for a good chin scratch - his absolute favorite.
Luka is also cat social and enjoys the quiet company of feline friends. Having a confident cat buddy around helps him feel more at ease and brings out his playful, curious side. He thrives in calm, cozy environments where he can build trust at his own pace.
If you have a peaceful home, a patient heart, and maybe a friendly resident cat or two, Luka might be the perfect companion to share your space - and your sunny windowsills.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
