About Zeus
Zeus is a very large powerful dog, who once you know him, is a big softie. Having said that, he has a mind of his own and is extremely difficult to distract when he wants to do something. Anything that he feels can fit into his mouth belongs to him. Zeus hasn’t had the best start in life and hence is in need of kind, patient but firm guidance. Zeus will thrive on structure and routine, and once he respects you, is easy to manage as he wants to please. Zeus needs a very specific home. He is more drawn to men, which is good with his powerful body and will respond well to women once he learns they are not a push over. He cannot live with children as he has a habit of jumping up on people His new home must be able to prove they have past experience with dogs such as Zeus; not have any other animals; be available most of the time to give him the guidance he needs and not be considering taking him to parks as his size is intimidating and he will be misunderstood. If the above criteria cannot be fulfilled please do not submit an application as it will not be considered

Save-A-Dog Scheme operates as an adoption agency for our dogs and cats. We spend a substantial amount of time getting to know our animals and we try to match each animal's needs with the new home's needs. We don't work on the same principle as purchasing from a shop or on a 'first come first served' basis. When you visit us, you can be sure we'll do our best to work with you to help find the right companion animal for your home and lifestyle.
