Meet Rosie — a cheeky little charmer with a heart of gold.
Rosie is a people-loving Jack Russell who's quickly stolen the hearts of her foster family. She adores pats and tummy rubs, and when she rolls over with that hopeful look in her eyes, resistance is futile. Beneath her sweet, gentle nature lies a spark of playful determination — she's clever, curious, and just a little bit cheeky, in true JR style.
Rosie travels beautifully in the car (she actually loves going for rides!), is fully house-trained, and has excellent manners indoors. She's happy to sleep in her own bed — though she's recently discovered the joys of sharing the human one too!
Out and about, Rosie walks well on the lead and enjoys meeting new dogs. She can be a bit cautious at first but warms up quickly. At home, she likes things on her own terms and won't hesitate to tell another dog off if they overstep her boundaries so she'd be best suited as an only dog or possibly with a calm, respectful canine companion after a proper introduction.
Rosie thrives on human company and loves to be part of whatever's going on. She can get a bit vocal when someone leaves the house — whether it's separation anxiety or just her saying, "Take Me!" — but she settles well once she knows she's safe and loved.
She's an adaptable little girl who would suit a variety of homes — perhaps with someone home part of the day, who enjoys daily walks and plenty of cuddles.
In short: Rosie is affectionate, bright, and full of personality. She's ready to give all her love to a family who'll let her snuggle close, share adventures, and enjoy life's simple joys together.

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped,
wormed, and flea treated. All necessary vetwork such as dentals,
surgery, eye treatment are also carried out. We are no longer heartworm
testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If
a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer free assistance for six weeks for any issues, a lifetime takeback policy with full refund of the adoption fee, and will always be available to offer advice.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.

We look forward to receiving your application.
