Bernard is still learning the ropes when it comes to confidence—especially around new environments. He’ll need a family willing to invest in training, patience, and positive experiences to help him blossom into the brilliant companion we know he can be. Bernard wouldn't mind sharing a home with another well socialised confidant dog that can help show him the ropes.

Because of his size and sensitivity, Bernard would thrive in a home with no young children, but he’s all about his humans and bonds strongly with those who give him structure, kindness, and a steady supply of snacks. Bernard is very food motivated and will be a great dog to train.
