About Mama Mia

Mama Mia is a timid, gentle cat looking for a home where she is able to settle into a routine and be provided multiple comfy spots in the sun to sleep, as this is one of her favourite activities. She is known to follow sunbeams across the house sleeping in them, she also loves hunting for her toys and batting them under doors. Part of her daily routine also includes her seizure medication which she needs to take every 12 hours. Mama Mia has had seizures and skin issues her whole life and requires a home that can keep look after her and ensure she is getting the right diet and taking her for the occasional steroid shot at the vet when her skin flares up, she is also a cat that sheds a lot more than a regular cat because of these skin issues and needs brushing. When she is settled into a routine she is an affectionate and sweet companion who takes a while to warm up to new people but once she does she is a devoted, happy cat with a lot of quirks for her owners to discover.
Mama Mia is not a fan of other cats as they seem to stress her out and she is unsure of how to interact with them. She has not been tested with dogs but would most likely prefer to be in an only pet in a calm home that can invest the time she needs to both settle and ensure she can get her medication twice daily. She has been looking for her forever home for many years now and this sweet girl deserves a home!
