Donny is a high-energy, fun-loving dog who’s ready to find a home that matches his zest for life. Recently returned to us, we now have a better understanding of his needs and personality, which will help set him up for success in his next chapter. Donny thrives on activity—he absolutely loves to play and is always up for an adventure. He’s also highly food motivated, which makes training easier, though he’s not food-obsessed. This clever boy will benefit from consistent guidance and structure, as he still needs quite a bit of training to help him channel his enthusiasm in the right direction. With dominant tendencies, Donny can be too much for other dogs, especially when combined with his boundless energy. Because of this, he needs to be the only dog in the home. His ideal family will be adult-only, confident in handling strong personalities, and committed to providing the exercise, structure, and ongoing training Donny needs to thrive.
