About Isla
Meet Isla
Isla is an American Staffy this intelligent sweet natured girl is looking for her very own family who has NO other dogs or cats and can be the centre of your world. Isla is well trained and respectful of the boundaries around her, however can be a little bit shy at times. Isla does not suffer from separation anxiety, but we would prefer her to be in a home where her family is home more often than not. Isla is eager to please, sleeps inside and needs to have access to inside and outside. Isla is fully crate trained.
Isla would really enjoy walks but will definitely NOT enjoy dog parks. Isla is a good traveller and walks well on her harness. Isla is no an overly energetic American Staffy, and doesn't have a tendency to bark. Experience and knowledge of the breed is an absolute Must.
A house check will be required before Isla is adopted
Isla is microchipped, fully vaccinated and regularly wormed.

ADOPTION PROCESS:

What does this mean?
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal will then take place. You must bring advise Waggy Tails if you are bringing your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption.
3. You will need to provide details of your dogs full vaccination status prior to bringing to the Sanctuary.
4. Waggy Tails does not offer trial period for puppies under the age of 6 months who are adopted out. Please ensure you are ready to adopt now. Waggy Tails will do their best to ensure you and your new dog are a good match.
3. Mircrochip transfer takes place after 7 days. Please note this may take up to 4 weeks dependent on microchip paperwork. If for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to Waggy Tails the Adoption fee may be refunded minus an admin fee (Minimum $500).
5. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work UNTIL date of adoption. Inclusive of vaccinations, monthly worming and flea treatment. New owners are responsible for keeping preventatives current at their cost from date of adoption.
