Meet Orana, the gentle greyhound with a heart full of sweetness. With her calm demeanor and sweet disposition, she's a quiet yet affectionate and playful companion who is looking for a patient and understanding family to guide her into a life of comfort and love. Orana has a quiet soul, with a heart as gentle as her careful steps.

Orana is adaptable to either apartment or house living, although a home with a fenced garden would delight her, giving her space to explore. She's calm and composed when on the lead, taking the world in without pulling, and she doesn't experience separation anxiety, making her an easy-going presence when you need to leave for a few hours.

Orana would benefit from a tranquil environment. She has become more confident in foster care and is learning to ignore loud, sudden noises. Her new family should be experienced dog owners who can provide the gentle guidance she needs to become even more confident, and a household with older, calm children would be ideal. Orana isn’t fazed by greyhounds and learns well from their calm behaviour. She has shown to be calm and respectful with dogs of all sizes.

Orana is excited to go for walks, she loves a car ride with the wind in her face and she enjoys a paddle in the sea.

Despite her initial shyness, once Orana warms up to her people, she revels in their company. She thrives on gentle cuddles and will come to you for cuddles. Her genuine love for a good roll in the grass, a quick zoomie, or a session with her favorite toys showcases her playful side, a heartening reminder of her sweet and trusting nature.
