ABOUT
Crumpet was surrendered to us by a person that extracted him from a neglect scenario.
Not having been shown a lot of love, Crumpet was not very fond of people. In fact, we couldn’t touch Crumpet when we first got him.
While he was supposed to go into short-term holding at one of our partner catteries, he was far too aggressively defensive, and had to go to one of our carers experienced in such behaviours.
After months of patience, Crumpet is now a cuddle monster for those he trusts… and he trusts pretty quickly, if he’s shown love.
Crumpet’s new owners will need to be aware that every task must now involve Crumpet. Going downstairs? Crumpet is there to guide you. Dropped something on the ground? Crumpet to the rescue! What’s that? You need to go to the bathroom? HERE’S CRUMPET!
We’re aware that Crumpet has ‘Model’ status (we’re expecting a modelling contract any day now) and so we’re aware he’s going to get a LOT of attention. But Crumpet still needs some gentle love and patience to help him understand what is appropriate behaviour (i.e. biting ankles or whacking a face with your paw to get what you want is not good manners). As such, we’re going to be very careful about picking his forever home.
