About Hotatu
Sweet smoochy girl wanting a home with a friend and a warm lap. Loves to look out the window and laze in the sunshine coming through. Is a wizard at chasing balls and climbing towers.
Meet Hotatu, a sweet and smoochy little girl who is eagerly awaiting her new family. With her endearing personality and affectionate nature, she quickly steals the hearts of those she meets. This adorable feline is on the lookout for a loving home with a cozy lap to curl up on and, ideally, another furry friend to share companionship with.
Hotatu is a real sun-loving kitty. She enjoys lounging in the sunbeams that stream through your windows, turning every sun-drenched spot into her personal haven for relaxation and daydreaming about her latest adventures. Window-watching is one of her favorite pastimes, allowing her endless entertainment as she observes the world go by with wide-eyed curiosity.
Hotatu is an athletic little lady who loves to chase balls and scamper up climbing towers to find a cozy viewing spot. Her playful spirit is matched by her agility, and she's a certified wizard when it comes to playtime.
A new family that can provide Hotatu with a nurturing environment full of love and warmth would be ideal, particularly one that can offer her the company of another pet as well as a window view!

Rocky Roads is run completely by volunteers - as such sometimes we do not have the capacity to reply to every single application that comes through.
We understand that this may not be the best experience but we are working hard to ensure the people who give up their valuable time and lives to support the animals in our care are able to look after themselves and their families too.
Without them, there is no Rocky Roads Rescue.

⦿ One of the RR team will reach out to discuss the adoption process with you - we are volunteers, please allow time for us to reach out to you!
⦿ Meet and greet is organised and completed - you head home! 💚
⦿ Family chats to decide if this adoption is right for you!
⦿ Adoption fee is paid
⦿ Contracts are signed and returned to RR
⦿ Pick up your new family member
⦿ 2 week trial period - during this time you can call and text any questions, concerns, celebrations etc to us!
⦿ At the end of the 2 week trial period we send you desex certificates, vaccination certificates and the microchip will be submitted for transfer into your name
Please note that at Rocky Roads Rescue, we believe every kitten deserves the joy of companionship. To support their well-being and happiness, we generally do not adopt out single kittens. We encourage you to explore the concept of ‘single kitten syndrome’ to understand why having a furry friend is so important. Your new family member will thrive best with a feline buddy or a cat-friendly dog to share playtime and cuddles. However, on occasion, if a cats’s personality shows they prefer to be on their own, we may consider adopting them solo—this will be clearly specified in their adoption profile.
