Indigo

Indigo (Indi) is a 3 year old German Shepherd who is looking for a very specific home. Please read her profile carefully to assess your suitability. Applicants in apartments, or who have very young children or other pets will not be considered.

Indi is looking for a quiet, peaceful and calm home in a rural/ semi- rural setting, somewhere where she can lay in the sun, play with her toys and run around the backyard. She is not the kind of dog you could take on walks in a busy area as she gets stressed by unfamiliar people and dogs. In short, Indi is scared of the outside world, but her personality shines within her home. She loves her humans and adores spending time with them, but manages fine when left alone for a few hours. Indi has shown some discomfort and pain after short bursts of running and this has been well managed with medication. She is also on medication for her anxiety which will need to continue in her forever home. Indi loves going on car drives, is very family oriented and loves when more of her family are around so she can look after all of them. Indi has come a long way due to the dedication of her foster carer and we are looking for someone that will continue to give her the support, care and safety she needs.
