Come and Meet Bruce
Bruce is a 10-month-old Rottweiler with the kind of resilience that reminds us why second chances matter.
This handsome boy has been through far more than any young dog should. His previous owners did everything they could for him — even sending him to a “canine boot camp” for training purposes — but unfortunately, that experience left him deeply shaken.
Chains were used as a form of discipline, and the result was fear, confusion, and a loss of trust, particularly toward the lead.
Recognising that Bruce needed experienced, compassionate handling, his owners made the brave and selfless decision to surrender him to Celebrity Pets Rescue to give him the best shot at a happy future.
Since coming into care, Bruce has made remarkable progress. With patient guidance, gentle consistency, and positive reinforcement, this once-fearful pup has blossomed into a playful, affectionate young dog who’s learning that humans can be kind and the world is safe again.
Bruce will thrive in a calm, structured home with someone experienced in large guardian breeds — someone who understands that leadership and love go hand-in-hand. In the right hands, Bruce isn’t just a work in progress — he’s a loyal, intelligent companion ready to shine.
We have suggested no children - but only for the reason that Bruce needs consistency at this age and not because he cant necessarily be around dog savvy children. He is also not suitable for a home with smaller dog - but could be a contender for a home with a stable larger breed pooch as a companion.

All our "Celebrity Pets” are waiting to meet you at our shelter at 12 Midas Road, Malaga.
