Meet Jasper. Your fluffy and adorable new best friend.

This handsome little gentleman is sweet, affectionate and incredibly loving. He absolutely adores people and whoever is lucky enough to adopt him is truly in for something special.

Jasper had been a lovely fixture in his previous owners lives but after they welcomed their first baby into the family they found that they could not give Jasper the love that they once had so they made the tough decision to find Jasper a new home where he could get the stimulation, love and attention he deserves.

This big fluffy lump of joy is very low maintenance and is more than happy to hang out and do his own thing, then come and find you when he's in the mood for a cuddle. He is an expert sleeper and will always find the best spots to nap. One of his favorites being on your pillow right next to your face :)

Jasper loves a pat and a scratch, is happy to be picked up and smooched and enjoys a cuddle on the couch or on your bed at night when it's time for sleep. He can be incredibly affectionate when he's in the mood but, like most cats, it's very much affection on his own terms.

He can be a little shy at first, and will take a bit of time to relax and feel comfortable, but once he has a chance to settle you'll find yourself with a smoochy gentleman on your hands who demands love, attention and play.

And as a young man he has plenty of energy and REALLY enjoys play time. Roll a ball around or wave a wand toy and he will quickly become your new best friend.

He would be well suited to any household where he can kick back and relax then have cuddles when the mood strikes him. Preferably a home without other pets. He has lived with other cats before, and while he does tolerate them, you can tell he would prefer to be the king of his own castle with his peoples attention all to himself.

Jasper is also great with kids and would make a perfect family cat for a family with older kids. The more people there are interested in pats and play the better.

Jasper is approximately 20 months old and has been desexed, microchipped and vaccinated and is available for adoption right meow.

A little about us:

Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.

Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.

We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
