If you’re looking for a big smooch and an even bigger heart, look no further than Plonka — our gorgeous French Mastiff × Great Dane mix.

Plonka isn’t just a handsome face; he’s our resident “doggy manners” expert! He helps new dogs learn how to play and socialise, and he’s always gentle, patient, and kind. He’s got plenty of girlfriends — the older Dane ladies absolutely adore him — and he’s even shared a home with a Chihuahua before!

At around 55kg, Plonka is a big, sturdy boy, but his heart is just as big as his frame. He’s calm, affectionate, and happiest either snoozing on the couch or following his humans from room to room. He enjoys a few short bursts of zoomies, then it’s back to being the world’s most content lounge lizard.

Dinner time = Feeding Separate always, he doesn’t have food aggression issues but with his size it’s just better to be cautious.
This Legend has never had a mistake inside, so toilet training is complete.
Plonka 
is really gentle on lead despite his size. Best on a slip lead as trained.

“He is everyone’s friend and such a sweet guy. He is an all rounder and does well with company but can also tolerate being along. 
He’s not the most active and burns fast but still loves to be active.
He is a big boy at 55kgs and a tall thick unit but despite his size he is gentle and doesn’t tend to knock too many over. 
Plonka is a once in a lifetime best friend who really would give you back all the love you could want not to mention his stunning looks! 
He is actually a Dogge de Bordeaux x Great Dane.”
