About Wilbur
Introducing Wilbur!
A spunky, energetic, little Jack Russel Terrier (JRT) who is looking for a loving, confident owner to call his own.
He is true to his breed, and shows great personality, so we are hoping his new owner may have already had breed experience so that they know what to expect.
Wilbur could suit a single, couple or family setting but is yet to be tested further with children and may best suit children 8 years and over.
He would also benefit from an indoor/outdoor lifestyle and being included in daily activities. He thrives when he is mentally & physically stimulated and will require some time commitment daily for play, walks, cuddles and grooming with the ones he loves.
He may suit living with another canine companion but does prefer dogs of his own size or very polite dogs that are larger. He must have a meet and greet with any potential doggie friends here at the facility to make sure they are the right fit. Due to his dislike of rude, invasive doggie manners we would recommend that he may not be suitable for dog parks or beaches but if you are wanting to try please wait a minimum of 3 months post his adoption so that he has time to settle in and decompress.
Unfortunately Wilbur cannot be rehomed with cats and/or pockets pets due to his natural prey drive and inability to let the cat win!
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
