Meet Keefie! He is a playful, affectionate and intelligent 1 year old Poodle.

Keefie loves to play and can often be found running around the yard and fetching his balls and toys. He is obsessed with his squeaky toys and his Kong frisbee! When he isn’t playing, he keeps himself busy and invigorated with enrichment activities. Licky mats, treats in ice, chew toys, beef pizzle – Keefie loves them all.

After he’s had his fun and burned off that puppy energy, Keefie knows how to relax. He’s great at settling down for cuddles or a nap (on the lounge of course), making him the perfect mix of playful and calm.

Keefie grew up on a farm but is a city boy at heart who loves being inside and close to his people. Keefie would thrive in a home where someone is home more often than not. He bonds quickly, loves companionship and just wants to be involved in everyday life and adventures no matter what you’re doing.

Keefie is an all-round good boy – toilet trained, sleeps through the night in his bed, the best mix of intelligent, goofy and full of personality.

Life expectancy 12 – 15 years.

His yard needs to be completely fenced, ready for a dog with permanent fixtures in place. The yard must be cleared of rubbish and choke hazards, with no gaps in the fences or gates.

• Desexed, vaccinated, worm and flea, tick and heartworm treated
• Toilet trained
• Sleeps through the night in his own bed
• Has lived with other dogs, cats and farm animals previously
• Fine being left alone with other dogs, but untested being left by himself. Keefie has been working on his confidence, being left alone and would need a family committed to continuing this
• Intelligent, knows commands and is a good listener
• Champion in the car
• A+ at the groomer (he falls asleep on the table)
• Loves to chew so needs enrichment toys and chews for stimulation

The perfect home for Keith would include:
• Someone home more often than not and is looking for a real companion
• A fully fenced yard to run and exercise in
• Daily walks
• Enrichment toys and chews
• Fresh food feeding

His adoption fee is $1,100. He is in foster care in Ryde, NSW. He is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated for fleas, ticks and worms.
