About Gilbert
Meet Gilbert, a sweet and spirited German Shepherd x Kelpie pup who is ready to melt your heart and become your new best friend. As a young pup, Gilbert is eager to learn and would thrive in a home committed to ongoing training, structure, and positive reinforcement (treats help too!). He will need an experienced home that can provide him with plenty of daily exercise, enrichment, and mental stimulation to keep him happy and healthy. He may also enjoy the company of a canine friend, pending a successful meet and greet.
Gilbert would love a family where everyone is involved in his care, training, and daily adventures. If you're looking for a fun-loving, smart, and affectionate pup to share your life with, Gilbert could be the perfect match for you!
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
