About Max
Meet Max, a spirited and lovely little Jack Russell Terrier who is all set to bring joy and exuberance into your life! At just 2 years old, Max is a bundle of energy wrapped in a charming personality, eagerly waiting for his new family.
Max is a delight with people, charming everyone he meets with his gentle demeanor. He would thrive best in an active home where he can enjoy plenty of activity and attention from family members, particularly with children aged five and above who understand the lively nature that Jack Russells are known for.
Max is a happy and energetic companion in the great outdoors, and a securely fenced yard is a must to give him the safe space he needs to explore and zoom around. His love for treats and playful antics make training a fun and rewarding experience, while his fondness for walks ensures you'll have a dedicated walking buddy by your side. Max would love to go to soccer games, net ball etc and be part of the family.
Despite his high energy, Max has a side of him that's surprisingly adaptable. He has shown to be good with the cats at the shelter - although it is important to remember he's a Jack Russell Terrier, so this will need monitoring - and he's comfortable around other small dogs, making him a delightful addition to your pet-loving household.
Max is on the lookout for a family that treasures his fun-loving nature and can provide him with the stimulation he craves. If you're ready for a lively four-legged friend eager to share life's adventures, Max is the companion for you!

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
