Handsome Rakali turns heads wherever he goes. With his shiny teeth, infectious smile and outgoing nature, Rakali easily charms those who are fortunate enough to cross paths with him. Rakali is a real social butterfly who loves meeting new friends – human or otherwise. While untested with cats, he does not appear to have a strong prey drive and is merely curious and interested in other furry creatures like cats and birds. He is also young enough to learn that he should not chase them! Being the gentleman that he is, he has not shown any interest in herding either.

Rakali is very curious about the world around him but has not shown any reactivity to loud noises like lawnmowers or vacuum cleaners. He loves going on walks and is learning how to walk in a straight line using a Black Dog Halti. Although sometimes the new sights and smells do distract him, he thoroughly enjoys keeping you company on your joint adventures.

This charming young man is easy-going and eager to please. He is super intelligent and picks things up quickly. He has learnt his foster home’s daily routines quickly. Some of his favourite activities include running around the backyard with his foster siblings, playing tug and stealing children’s toys! He has discovered the joys of chewing on a raw meaty bone and will sometimes entertain himself outside if he can’t convince anyone else to play with him!

Rakali would love to settle down with a person or people who can be gentle with him and shower him with lots of attention. He would enjoy going to dog obedience classes or some form of agility training as he needs to keep that sharp brain of his active! In return, Rakali can guarantee unwavering faithfulness and close company – even when you are in the bathroom! He delights in showering people with kisses. He would do well in a home with company during the day – human or otherwise, as he is just such an extrovert.
