About Pete
Meet Pete,
A sweet and gentle kitten whose journey started with a little bit of a mystery, rescued from a backyard with his brother, Steve. When he first arrived in foster care, he was quite timid and shy, as all the changes were a lot for a little guy to take in. But with time, patience, and love, Pete has made wonderful progress and is now ready to take the next big step: finding his forever home!
Pete is a quieter soul than his playful brother. He’s looking for someone who understands that trust takes time. He is gentle and needs extra patience to truly build his confidence. Despite his shyness, Pete is easy to handle and will happily allow himself to be picked up. He just needs a little more time to fully find his confidence and let his guard down. With ongoing love and gentle reassurance, Pete is sure to blossom into a wonderfully loyal and affectionate companion. He has so much love to give once he feels secure! Pete has grown up in a busy foster home and has adjusted well to being around both cats and dogs.
Pete would thrive in a calm, predictable home where he can truly take his time to settle in. Adults or a family with older, gentle children who understand that he needs space and patience will be best for Pete. He needs an adopter who is willing to give him the time he needs to build trust at his own pace.
Pete has been through a lot with his brother, Steve, and they share a very special bond. While they are listed separately, we would absolutely love for them to be adopted together! Having his brother by his side would be the perfect comfort and confidence booster as they grow into happy, secure cats.
If you have a quiet lap and a patient heart ready for a rewarding journey, sweet Pete might just be your perfect match!
