🌟 Meet Steve: The Sweetheart and Brave Adventurer 🌟
This is Steve, a handsome young kitten whose journey started with a bit of a secret. Rescued with his brother, Pete, from a backyard, his early life remains a mystery. He arrived in foster care with a timid heart, very shy and afraid, the world was a big, scary place to him.
But oh, how things have changed!
Steve is a testament to the power of patience and love. He's made truly wonderful progress and has bloomed into a gentle, loving companion. In fact, Steve has revealed himself to be the more brave adventurer of the two brothers! He's a highly curious and playful soul who is often the first to investigate a new toy or sound.
He loves nothing more than chasing toys and getting little tickles under his chin, rewarding your affection with a rumbling purr. He's also discovered a love for gourmet dining and adores being hand fed, it’s a great way to bond with him! Once he feels safe, his cheeky and affectionate side comes through, making him a delightful little character.
Steve is no stranger to a busy home; he has grown up around cats and dogs in foster care and has adjusted well to them. However, he is looking for a home that will give him the time and patience he truly needs to settle in.
He would best suit a calm home with older children or adults who understand that while he is brave, he may still need a moment to warm up in a new environment.
Steve and his brother Pete have been through a lot together and share a very special bond. While they are listed separately, we would love for them to be adopted together. Seeing these two grow in confidence side by side in their forever home would be a dream come true!

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
