Meet our beautiful girl Makipai, a sweet soul with eyes that will melt your heart.
She can be shy and timid when meeting new people or facing unfamiliar situations, but once she learns to trust you, her true personality shines through. When that happens, you’ll have a loyal, loving shadow by your side — always ready for play, cuddles, pats, and endless affection.

Her gentle nature makes her a joy to have around, she is such an easy house companion. She loves attention and thrives on connection, so she’ll suit a family who has time to spend with her and understands that she might need a little patience and reassurance as she builds confidence.

She’d do best in a home with older children as she is strong and can get exited and jumpy when playing. She could happily be the only dog, or live with a canine companion of similar size and energy — she loves to play and can be quite boisterous during playtime!

She will benefit from ongoing socialisation and positive reinforcement training to help her continue building confidence and become the best family dog she can be.

She is currently attending group dog training sessions weekly with her foster mum and improving all the time. She walks well on leash and responds to sit, drop and come (sometimes).
