About Rooth
*In foster care in Stanmore, Sydney*
Meet Rooth – A Rare Ginger Gem with Big Green Eyes!
Looking for a one-of-a-kind kitten to steal your heart? Meet Rooth, a stunning rare ginger girl with mesmerizing green eyes and a personality as vibrant as her coat.
Rooth is a wonderfully well rounded kitten, the perfect mix of independent spirit and sweet companion. She loves to play and explore, and while she’s not the biggest fan of being picked up, she does love a good snuggle—on her own terms, of course! When she’s in the mood, she’ll curl up beside you, purring away in pure contentment.
She may not be clingy, but Rooth definitely wants to be near her people. She’ll often chirp out if you leave the room, just to let you know she’s keeping tabs on you. She can't properly meow but she does know how to communicate with you! She’s a loyal little shadow with a big personality.
If you're looking for a playful, unique, and affectionate companion who knows exactly what she wants, Rooth might just be your perfect match.
Like all Maggie's pets, Rooth is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: Rooth is a super well rounded kitten who would thrive in most homes - a single, couple or family with older children (12+) with other resident pets for friends would be great! Ideally you're home more often than not while I settle in.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Kitten - Rooth thrives on PLAY time and loves all things feather, ribbon and ball to chase. But when she's worn herself out she loves the top of the tower or the little hammock for a snooze.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Due to her independent nature, she’s best suited to a home with a single, couple or family with older children (12+) who understand that affection should come on her terms and her love language is PLAY!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Rooth is cat- and dog-social with proper introductions and would likely enjoy a home with other respectful pets.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
