About Sonny
Sonny is approximately 2 years old and has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and is available for adoption right meow.
A few things about Sonny; he is 2 years old and absolutely the definition of a Velcro cat! If it were up to him, he would spend all day every day curled up in your shoulder sleeping. But he is also still quite playful since he’s still so young. He loves catnip toys, laser pointers and treats of any kind. More than anything, he loves attention! He’s truly the friendliest and most affectionate cat I’ve ever met and will go up to anyone that comes to my house from friends and families, to even strangers like the landlord or tradies for cuddles and pats. His personality is sometimes more like a puppy than a cat. Sonny is an indoor cat and would likely be suited to someone who is around a lot, a family or someone with other pets.
If you think you have the room in your heart and your home to provide this gorgeous little soul with a great life please let us know and we’ll be more than happy to arrange a time for you to meet and fall in love with him.
Located in Dandenong North with our amazing foster carers.
To express your interest please send us a message with your details and we will give you a call as soon as we can to discuss.
A little about us:
Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.
Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.
We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
We have recently created a Go Fund Me towards this end so if you would like to donate towards our cause please follow the below link.
