Petal was well loved by her previous owner but sadly they became quite unwell and could no longer care for her so they made the tough decision to reach out to us to find her a new home. She had lived with her previous owner for 12 years, comes from a loving household and has a lot of love to give.

Petal is a gentle affectionate girl who ready to spend her golden years in a calm, loving home. This lovely senior is an absolute sweetheart, very docile, loves affection or curling up for those much loved long naps or a cuddle.

Petal can be a bit shy at first, preferring to take things at her own pace and before you know it she's your best friend.

Surprisingly she has adapted to her foster home very quickly and was wanting pats and cuddles almost as soon as she stepped out of her cat carrier. She can now often be found sunning herself by the window.

She loves her food, loves a belly rub and is a real smoocher once she gets to know you. She also has quite a bit of kitten in her for an older gal and she still loves to play.

She has been an only cat for her entire life so we're not sure how she would go with a multi-pet household. She has been around children briefly, but without negative effects, so she may be ok if you have grandkids visiting occasionally.

We'd love to find her a nice quiet home where she can kick back, relax and live out her golden years.

Petal would be a perfect fit for a retiree who's looking to add a loving and gentle companion to their household.

Petal is approximately 13 years old and has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and is available for adoption right meow.

A little about us:

Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.

Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.

We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
