About Rex
š¾ Meet Rex ā Your Loyal, Loving Kelpie Companion!
Hi, Iām Rex, a 4-year-old Kelpie with a big heart and a gentle soul.
I am the perfect age - Iāve done the nippy puppy stage and the crazy teenage years, and now Iām a sensible adult.
Iām good-natured, affectionate, and always ready to join in on the fun ā whether thatās a run in the paddock, a ride on the Ute, or a quiet cuddle at home.
I currently live happily with my Kelpie friend Genna (9 years old) and a cheeky Chihuahua cross, Gertie (1 year old). I get along great with dogs big and small, and Iām gentle with children too.
I havenāt met any cats yet, but Iāve spent time around chickens, sheep, goats, and cattle ā and while I like to work the chooks, I promise I donāt want to eat them!
Iām fine on a lead, happy to hang out at home or in a pen, and always up for a Ute ride. Iām what youād call a great all-rounder ā loyal, loving, and easy to have around.
ā¤ļø The Perfect Home
Iād love a kind, fun person or family with space for me to run and play. I enjoy walks or jogs (I might need a little practice at first) and would love to try new adventures like visiting the beach or a lake. I already enjoy cooling off in my little shell pool during summer, so water might just be my new favourite thing!
š¶ Training & Temperament
I know my basic commands and like to please, especially when thereās a treat or some praise involved. Iām a sensitive boy ā I donāt respond well to yelling or harsh tones, but if youāre gentle and kind, Iāll be your most devoted mate.
Rex is ready to bring love, loyalty, and plenty of smiles into his new familyās life ā could that be you
