About Bobby
***WE'RE ALWAYS ON THE LOOKOUT FOR FOSTER CARERS TO HELP US OUT SO IF YOU THINK YOU CAN PROVIDE A TEMPORARY HOME FOR ONE OF OUR BEAUTIFUL CATS PLEASE LET US KNOW. THE MORE CARERS WE HAVE AVAILABLE TO LEND A HAND THE MORE CATS WE CAN HELP REHOME***
This gorgeous fluffy ball of love is Bobby and she’s on the lookout for her new home.
Her previous owner used to foster for a shelter and raised Bobby and her 4 siblings. Bobby was always the more reserved of the litter, the others were more outgoing, and as a result she made her way into her foster mums heart and never left.
Sadly this lovely person had a dramatic change in their circumstances and could no longer give Bobby the life she deserved so they reached out to us to find her a new home. She comes from a loving household and has never known anything but love and comfort from humans.
Bobby can be a little shy at first and will take some time to settle into her new home but once she adapts to her new surroundings and gets to know her new people her beautiful personality will begin to shine through and it will be all purrs and cuddles.
She is very much a lap cat and always sits next to her foster carer when they're in bed or on the couch. She is a big purrrrrrrer so you can often feel her rumpling away when she's sitting next to you. She also like to show her affection by giving you a lick, will often drool when she's content and makes the most adorable biscuits.
Bobby also LOOOOOOOOVES being brushed. She will purr and roll over so you can brush her tummy and legs and tail. She doesn’t need to be brushed, she generally takes good care of her coat on her own, but her owner would brush her at least twice a because she enjoys it.
She enjoys a pat and a scratch, loves a cuddle, is happy to be picked up and smooched and will rub up against your legs when you get home from work.
While she is very affectionate, Bobby isn't clingy and is generally happy to hang out and do her own thing then come and find you when she's in the mood for attention.
Bobby is used to being around other cats as her mum fostered many litters of kittens and she often doted on the younger cats, letting them crawl all over her. She has not been around dogs much but has seemed curious on the rare occasion that she met one.
She is used to living as an indoor / outdoor cat and would often potter around with her owner when they were working in the garden, never going far. Although she has also adapted well to cushy indoor only life in her foster home.
Bobby also loves those wave scratchers that you get from kmart and her owner describes them as her "comfort toy". Otherwise she is great with her litter, has great manners and is very low maintenance.
She also loves to play with ribbons.
We would love to find Bobby a nice quiet home with a patient owner who's willing to give her the time she needs to truly settle into her new home and let her beautiful personality being to shine through.
She would make the perfect fluffy companion for almost any situation. The only exception being a house with loud kids. Bobby would not enjoy this at all.
Bobby is approximately 6 years old and has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and is available for adoption right meow.
If you think you have the room in your heart and your home to provide this gorgeous little soul with a great life please let us know and we’ll be more than happy to arrange a time for you to meet and fall in love with her.

A little about us:
Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.
Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.
We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
We have recently created a Go Fund Me towards this end so if you would like to donate towards our cause please follow the below link.
