About Milo
***WE'RE ALWAYS ON THE LOOKOUT FOR FOSTER CARERS TO HELP US OUT SO IF YOU THINK YOU CAN PROVIDE A TEMPORARY HOME FOR ONE OF OUR BEAUTIFUL CATS PLEASE LET US KNOW. THE MORE CARERS WE HAVE AVAILABLE TO LEND A HAND THE MORE CATS WE CAN HELP REHOME***
Milo is a gentle, mild-tempered boy who wins hearts with his calm and easy-going nature.
He is the kind of companion who enjoys simply being near you, content to watch the world go by with quiet grace. Playful at times and delightfully curious, Milo has a spark of fun but is never demanding.
He can be a little aloof on occasion but always remains gentle and well-mannered.
If you are looking for a cat who brings a peaceful presence to your home, Milo is your perfect match. He's the perfect blend of affectionate and independent, happy to share your space but equally happy to be on his own. He will thrive in a loving home where he can feel safe, relaxed and truly part of the family.
Unfortunately Milo's previous owner had developed allergies to him so he was living in their mother's home until they could find a rescue to help re-home him. Milo was initially hesitant in his foster home, which is understandable after being moved around a bit prior to being surrendered into our care. However, after a few days to quietly decompress, he became more friendly towards his foster family. He is now living comfortably in their home, which he is sharing with two male cats of a similar age to him, a small senior dog, and a teenager. He is unperturbed by the dog (and the teenager) and quite friendly and curious towards the cats - even attempting to initiate play with them sometimes - so we think he could probably live happily with another social cat.
Milo has confidently explored his foster home inside and out. He found the pet door out to the enclosure area all on his own, and regularly goes in and out. However, we believe he was an indoor-only cat in his previous home, so would probably adapt well to that lifestyle again.
Milo will approach you when he's in the mood for a pat, rub up against your legs and can be picked up and held. Now that he is starting to feel more settled in his foster home he often jumps up on the couch with his foster mum in the evening, sometimes climbing on her lap for an extra cuddle.
If you're looking for a big fluffy ball of love who is a nice mix of aloof and affectionate and is full of personality, then Milo is the cat for you.
Milo is approximately 3 years old and has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and is available for adoption right meow.
If you think you have the room in your heart and your home to provide this gorgeous little soul with a great life please let us know and we’ll be more than happy to arrange a time for you to meet and fall in love with him.

A little about us:
Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.
Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.
We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
We have recently created a Go Fund Me towards this end so if you would like to donate towards our cause please follow the below link.
