About Myrtle
***WE'RE ALWAYS ON THE LOOKOUT FOR FOSTER CARERS TO HELP US OUT SO IF YOU THINK YOU CAN PROVIDE A TEMPORARY HOME FOR ONE OF OUR BEAUTIFUL CATS PLEASE LET US KNOW. THE MORE CARERS WE HAVE AVAILABLE TO LEND A HAND THE MORE CATS WE CAN HELP REHOME***
This beautiful little lady is sweet, affectionate, loving and absolutely adores human company.
She loves a pat and a scratch, enjoys a belly rub, will jump up on your bed and have a cuddle with you and just generally wants to be part of what you are doing.
She was well love by her previous family but sadly they had a change in living situation and could no longer give her the love she deserved, so they reached out to us to find her a new home.
She can be a bit shy at first and will take a bit of time to settle into her new home but once she's had a chance to settle she will be all purrs and cuddles.
When she first arrived in her foster home she was ready for pats and cuddles but was not super keen to explore straight away. But her amazing foster carer gave her plenty of love and let her explore at her own pace and she now has the run of the house.
Make sure you check out the cute video we uploaded of her the day she arrived in her foster home.
In her previous home she loved to curl up with her people on the couch and have a cuddle and potter around outside while her people were working in the garden. In her foster home she can often be found on her foster daddy's bed, keeping an eye on him to make sure he's doing his work correctly.
Myrtle has been around other cats before but you can tell she would prefer to be the only cat in the home and the queen of her own castle. She was bullied a bit by her brother in her previous home and is really enjoying being the only cat in her foster home.
She's also not a big fan of kids or strangers.
We would love to find Myrtle a quiet home with a loving and patient person who can give her the time she needs to come out of her shell and let her beautiful personality begin to shine through.
She would be the perfect fit for a retiree or home body who likes to kick back, relax and have a cuddle.
Myrtle is approximately 7 years old and has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and is available for adoption right meow.
If you think you have the room in your heart and your home to provide this gorgeous little soul with a great life please let us know and we’ll be more than happy to arrange a time for you to meet and fall in love with her.

A little about us:
Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.
Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.
We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
We have recently created a Go Fund Me towards this end so if you would like to donate towards our cause please follow the below link.
