About Shrooms
Meet Shrooms – The Ultimate Lap-Loving, Heart-Stealing Queen 👑💛
This sweet girl is an instant heart-thief – with one ear permanently up and a smile that could melt stone, Shrooms is all charm, cheek, and cuddles. Her quirky play bow (front legs down, bum in the air!) is sure to make you laugh, and her favourite activity? Trotting up to the nearest human for some love – chin scratches, pats, and if you're sitting, don’t be surprised if she climbs right into your lap.
🏡 My Ideal Home
Shrooms would thrive in a home where her humans are around often – she lives for affection and is happiest when she’s close to her people. Whether she’s your one and only or joining another chill pup, she’ll settle in with ease. She can be left alone for short periods, but her ideal family will be around more often than not.
⚡ My Energy Level
She’s the perfect mix of lazy and playful. Shrooms is a low-maintenance gal who’s happy with a gentle stroll and a soft toy to snuffle around with. Most of her day? Spent snoozing in the comfiest spot she can find.
👶 My Suitability to Children
She’s met kids at the park and treats them just like anyone else – with a big grin and a gentle nudge for pats. Her calm and affectionate nature makes her a sweet companion for respectful children.
🐾 My Suitability to Other Pets
Shrooms has an easygoing nature and gets along well with other dogs. She’s happy to play or just hang out next to a furry sibling. She hasn’t met any cats yet, but she’s generally chill and could be a good candidate for a slow, respectful introduction.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
