Meet Grace – The Tiny Queen of Purrs
Grace and her brother Albert came into care earlier this year in heartbreaking condition — underweight, crawling with parasites, and both born with serious eye defects.
After thorough vet checks and specialist visits, it was determined that Grace had microphthalmia in one eye (with no vision) and severe eyelid agenesis in the other, leaving her with only very limited sight. To give her the best quality of life, vets removed the non-functional eye and performed cryotherapy on the remaining one, allowing her to keep a small amount of vision — about 10–15%.
But don’t let that fool you — Grace doesn’t let her limited vision hold her back for a second! She does everything a sighted kitten does: plays, climbs, explores, and adores her humans with all her heart.
Grace is incredibly people-oriented and would happily spend her days curled up on her person, purring contentedly. She’s also known for her affectionate “face grooming,” making sure her humans stay nice and clean!
While Grace enjoys the company of other cats, she’d also be perfectly happy as a solo princess, as long as she has plenty of human love. She’s not a fan of dogs, so her forever home will need to be dog-free.
This petite little lady is absolutely stunning, with a soft, silky torti coat that’s as beautiful as her personality.
