About Mittens
Meet Mittens
~3 years | Muted Tortoiseshell | 100% Lovebug
Say hello to Mittens, a soft and stunning muted tortoiseshell with a heart as warm as her cozy fur. At around 3 years old, Mittens is in the purrfect stage of life-full of affection, curiosity, and cuddles.
This sweet girl is a purring machine who adores attention and knows exactly how to turn on the charm. Give her a few gentle pats, and she'll roll right onto her back with the cutest little wiggle, showing off her belly (and her trust!) to win your heart. She's mastered the art of maximum cuteness.
Mittens loves human connection and will happily be your shadow, curling up beside you for naps or greeting you with soft meows and loving head bumps. Whether you're reading, watching TV, or just relaxing, she's happiest by your side.
Looking for a companion who gives as much love as she receives? Mittens is ready to be your best friend-and your heart will be full of purrs too.
To book a meet and greet with Mittens please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au .
Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
