About Romeo, the greyhound
If you are interested in Romeo, or any of our Greyhounds, we require you to fill in our application form - https://forms.gle/kpSn4PdsS2Uc7gDt6
Introducing Romeo, the gentle and curious greyhound who's on the lookout for a loving new family! This beautiful boy is experiencing the joys of indoor life for the first time and is quickly learning the comforts of being a house dog. He's more than happy being where his people are, enjoying the familiarity and warmth of being indoors.
Romeo has a polite demeanor and is especially comfortable when in the company of other greyhounds, although he's shown curiosity and friendliness toward other breeds as well. A home with a fellow hound, or possibly another polite breed, would surely be agreeable, but he's also content being the solo star of the household. Though he hasn't been tested with young children just yet, his gentle nature and easygoing attitude suggest he'll adjust well given a bit of time and patient introductions.
His outdoor escapades are far from boring as Romeo finds excitement in suburban and city walks. Though the city sounds can be a bit much, this boy handles them with grace, showing only mild signs of overstimulation. If you're planning to take him on adventures, rest assured that Romeo is pleasant on a leash and receptive to gentle guidance, though he might need a little reminder when excitement takes over initially. His playful instincts come alive when he sees dogs running, but he readily redirects, proving his adaptability and willingness to learn.
In the household, Romeo is endearing with his little quirks, such as folding an ear inside-out when uncertain, or being receptive to sweet talk, proving himself neither clingy nor aloof. He enjoys car rides, delighting in sticking his nose out to experience the rush before relaxing comfortably. When it comes to mealtime, a quiet space and a respectful distance are all he needs to ease any skittishness, and with gentle reinforcement, that too will fade.
Routine and boundaries bring him comfort in his new environment, making Romeo a great companion for owners with experience or those ready for a gentle transition into pet parenting. His curiosity, coupled with a steady disposition, will surely earn him a special place in the hearts of his new human family. If you're ready to welcome a sweet, loving greyhound into your life, Romeo would love to be your forever friend, ears, heart, and all.
