Introducing Bert!

With his big, chubby cheeks and wide, wondering eyes, Bert looks like he's been caught in a moment of surprise... pretty much all the time. And honestly? He kind of has.

Bert is a quiet, gentle soul who needs a calm, patient person to help him come out of his shell.

Bert does have FIV which simply means his immune system is a bit weaker than average. But don't worry: FIV+ cats can live long, healthy, happy lives, especially when they're indoors, cared for, and loved (which is exactly what Bert is hoping for).

Bert is ready to embrace happiness and love, because he definitely deserves the world. We can't wait for someone to show him the world is not a scary place.

He's taken the hard road to get here, but Bert's heart is still open. He's ready and he's worth it.
