hello my name is addison. . The first time anyone saw me from bfr i was shaking in the freight crate as i had just made the journey from townsville pound to brisbane where a kind bfr member picked me up. I was skin and bones and had to actually be carried from the car to her house where i just hid away. . I watched them with my big brown eyes as they looked at me in absolute shock over the state i was in. . That was me 2 months ago. Now i am a happy and healthy german shepherd who loves nothing more than going for runs in the park and playing with other dogs. . I am friendly with people but still shy around men. I am great with kids but would be better off in a home with older ones as i can act like a big puppy sometimes and get very excited and i just simply forget how big i am. I love to play and my favorite toy is a ball on a rope. . Both when it is thrown for me or sometimes i just throw it around myself. One thing my new owners must know is that i am very protective and i will let you know if someone is on the property or getting very close. . I do not bark unless there is something to bark at however. I am very loyal and become very attached quickly to my human pack leader. . It is important that you show me kindness. . Yet be firm when leading me at the same time. Even though i like to play with dogs i am not 100% sure just yet and can sometimes run after other dogs but if they turn and look at me then i run straight back to mum!

i stay close and like to keep an eye on my family to make sure they are not too far away and they say i am great as i always come when called. All in all my foster mum says that i am well behaved inside and i am toilet trained. . If i need to go out i will pace and come up to you and nudge you with my nose. Another important thing is that i need company all the time. . Whether it is a 2 legged or 4 legged friend. . Otherwise i get really really lonely.
