About Primrose - 8 Year Old Labrador X
Meet Primrose – or Primmy, as her friends call her – a loving, loyal girl who’s ready to become someone’s perfect companion.
At 8 years young, this gorgeous Labrador x Border Collie has just the right mix of playfulness and calm. She still adores chasing a ball, rolling on the grass, and splashing in the water – whether it’s a beach, lake, or backyard pool. If there’s water around, you can bet Primmy will be the first one in! When she’s not having fun outdoors, she’s happiest simply being near her people, following them from room to room with her tail wagging.
Primmy has a gentle nature and loves being part of the action, but she appreciates a calmer household where life isn’t too hectic. She’s beautifully mannered, affectionate, and enjoys the company of people who can spend time with her throughout the day. She’s also friendly with other dogs and would happily share her space with another easygoing canine companion.
She’s around 20kg, desexed, and ready for her forever home. Like any Labrador mix, she’s very food-motivated (and sometimes a little too interested in snacks found along the footpath). Her enthusiasm on walks can lead to some pulling on the lead, but with a bit of guidance and routine, she settles beautifully.
Primmy loves her toys – especially tennis balls – but plush toys and soft beds don’t last long in her care. If left alone outside for long stretches, she may dig a little to keep herself busy, so she’ll do best in a home where someone is home more often than not.
Primrose would suit a peaceful, loving home with people who enjoy the outdoors and can include her in their daily life – whether that’s leisurely walks, trips to the beach, or relaxing together in the garden. She’s a devoted, affectionate companion who just wants to be by your side, joining in on whatever the day brings.
