MEET AMY & DECLAN THE SWEETEST DUO AROUND!
Delightful Declan -
Declan is a small but mighty boy with a heart full of love! Declan and his sister Amy have been in foster care since they were little kittens and are waiting patiently for their forever home. While shy at first, Declan quickly warms into a little purr machine, with your lap being his favourite place. He loves to play with his wand toy and chase his soft toys around, but for the most part he is a relaxed boy that enjoys a snooze and looking out the window to watch the world go by. Declan is exceptionally gentle and loves to carefully groom you to make sure you stay clean. He would make a wonderful companion to cuddle up with on the couch at night after a long day. He and Amy have very similar, snuggly temperaments which makes them a wonderful duo. They have lived with other cats before so may suit a multi-cat household. They are untested with dogs.
Amazing Amy -
Amy has a beautiful little face with the temperament to match! Amy and her brother Declan have been in foster care since they were little kittens and are waiting patiently for their forever home. Amy comes out of her shell quickly and it doesn't take long to see what a smoochy loving sweetheart she is. She is so polite and will stand on her back legs hoping you'll let her jump on your lap. Amy purrs like a motor which makes it very obvious how much she loves her people. She is exceptionally gentle and loves to curl up against or on you at any chance she gets. She is the perfect companion and will instantly bring warmth and sweetness to any house. Like Declan, she will definitely groom you to make sure you stay clean! Amy and Declan have very similar calm, snuggly temperaments which makes them a wonderful duo. They have lived with other cats before so may suit a multi-cat household. They are untested with dogs.
Both Declan and Amy are such loving gentle souls and so perfect that it's hard to believe they have been waiting for a home all this time.
Both kitties are INDOOR ONLY cats for life please!

Thank you for your interest in a rescue cat! They can make the most wonderful friends and family members.
Our rescue cats have varied histories and stories and as such they each require a different home environment, we ask prospective adopters a series of questions aimed at making the perfect match so please dont be offended when asked questions. We do not adopt to a first in first serve basis and only adopt to the most suitable home possible. If you are outside Ballarat we ask that you make time to have a 30 minute video-chat with us and the kitty you are interested in so we can get to know you a little better and you can see the kitty in its home environment before coming up to Ballarat to adopt, if you are local then we hold a meet and greet at the foster home of the kitty. We only offer video chats and meet and greets to the most suitable homes.
All of our cats at Cat Lovers Ballarat are rehomed as strictly INDOOR ONLY cats and we ask that all prospective adopters only apply if they are capable and comfortable with this.
Please have patience with us as we go through all applications and make our decisions to move onto phase 2 and offer meet and greets, this can take days and sometimes a week to go through, you will be contacted whether you are successful or not.
