NightShade came to us as a young kitten from a local colony — frightened and unsure of humans. With time, love, and patience, she’s blossomed into a gentle, affectionate girl who now seeks out attention from those she trusts. 💕

During her journey, we discovered she was suffering from severe stomatitis. Thanks to a full dental (teeth removal), her pain is now gone, and she’s thriving! NightShade has gained weight, rediscovered her appetite, and her sweet personality shines through every day.

She adores her wet food, butt scratches, and ear rubs, and although she may take a little time to warm up, once she does, you’ll have her heart forever. 🥰

NightShade currently lives harmoniously with three female cats and one male and enjoys feline companionship. She would do best in a quiet home with another friendly cat and no children under 12. She hasn’t been tested with dogs.

While her stomatitis has remained settled since her dental, she may need occasional short courses of steroids or anti-inflammatories in the future — though none have been needed since her surgery.

NightShade is a 4½-year-old beauty who deserves to be adored, cherished, and kept 100% indoors for her safety and comfort.
