Hi! I'm the adorable Cali!

So, if you're reading this, I'm thinking perhaps you are looking for a canine companion, well, you have found the one you have wanted all along and let me tell you why! I'm a Labrador mix and a very good girl, I have amazing basic skills, love a good game of fetch, I'm not too big and I'm a very affectionate girl. Sadly, my former owners could no longer look after me because I was too active for them, so now I'm living here at the shelter patiently waiting to meet my new forever family. I'm a very social girl, I love meeting other dogs and going for walks with them, so if you have other dogs at home already that's not a problem. I can be a little unsure when meeting new people, so I need an owner who has experience with dogs and know how to support us when we are scared. My ideal home would look like this; comfy sunny spots to have a snooze in, lots of toys I can carry and throw around, an active friend to take me on some walks and maybe have a few fun training sessions a day, but most of all, a loving home where I will be cared for and kept warm in the winter months.
