About Pear
*In foster care in Erskineville, Sydney*
An absolute sweetheart, Pear is a happy and outgoing girl - enjoying the company of her special humans more than anything else in the world. If you throw in some pats and cuddles, she's in heaven!
This little love is the purrfect furry friend to have by your side, whether you're working from home or watching TV. If you're open to a co-sleeping buddy, she's a massive snugglebug and even sleeps through the night :)
Pear's also a real clever clogs, having learned to come when called (most of the time) if you make a kissing noise - though she WILL expect pats or a treat when summoned!
Like all Maggie's pets, Pear is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I adore people and don't take long to make new friends, so I'm likely to thrive in almost any type of home! If you're a single person, couple or family with kids, I'd love to meet you and see if we're a match :)
All I really need (apart from heaps of hands-on love and affection) is to know there's a safe and quiet place I can retreat to from time to time to have a nap and recharge my social batteries.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: ... is best described as chill. I love to hang out in comfy places (I'm a big fan of beds!) and snooze in the sun. I do enjoy playtime - I'm a fearsome hunter with my mouse toys! - but once I've got that urge out of my system it's straight back to relaxing.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Older children (10+) would be fine, and younger ones might be OK as well. I haven't met any kids yet so this is just an educated guess - but I'm not particularly timid and I tend to acclimate quickly to new situations. I'm tolerant of things like being picked up and woken up, and I've never shown aggression.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Being a brave and sweet-natured young lady, I reckon I could get along with other nice cats, as long as they're not too bossy or dominant. (I'm very food-oriented so I'd hate to feel like they were coming after my dinner!)
I'm not sure how I'd go with dogs.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
