About Freda, the greyhound
If you are interested in Freda, or any of our Greyhounds, we require you to fill in our application form - https://forms.gle/kpSn4PdsS2Uc7gDt6
🌟 Meet Freda 🌟
Freda has a playful side and enjoys a little zoomie every now and then, but she’s also very good at relaxing once she’s had her fun. She loves people and would be happy as an only dog, but she’s also calm and comfortable around other dogs — the photos show she’s relaxed in their company.
Alone time has been going well. She has stayed home for several hours without any distress. She’s happy to see you when you return but is not anxious while you’re gone.
She likes respectful kids and enjoyed spending time with the neighbour’s children (around 10 years old). If she gets excited, she can be a little enthusiastic at first but settles quickly.
Her lead manners are generally good. She may get a little bouncy at the start of a walk but quickly settles into a nice rhythm.
She sleeps through the night without any problems and is ready for her morning walk around first light.
She handles busier environments well. Even large trucks nearby don’t bother her.
Freda would suit first-time greyhound owners or anyone looking for a sweet girl who brings a mix of gentle playfulness, calm company and easy companionship.
At Homeward Bound Hounds, we pride ourselves on matching the right dog to the right family. We need to know more about you and your home to find the best possible match.
