Chicko

Introducing CHICKO ...
This young boy is soft natured, happy, playful, unusually different looking, robust, romantic like a Barry white album on repeat but the intelligence of a goldfish.
But unless you are entering him in the world's smartest dog competition I say brains are overrated.
Chicko loves other dogs . Able to match it with those 4 times bigger than him while slow and accommodating to dogs smaller . Chicko is cat and duck friendly even submitting when faced with a feline Freddy Kruger.
Don't be fooled by his chunky appearance Chicko isn't one to lick the bowl clean . Table manners add to his overall charm. A MERE 30cm tall ( yes ruler height ) and a length of 65cm proving looks can be deceiving.

Unfortunately like most males he engages in the leg lift for this reason I class him as NOT house-trained. Not to worry though because Chicko is comfortable sleeping outside preferring it over indoors anyway .
Chicko does play with toys. In an uncoordinated at times hilarious way. He won't win any hurdle race; jumping proves difficult when you have tree stumps for legs even if it's four of a kind . But when you're not looking you may scratch your head wondering how he managed to get up there .

Chicko isn't a barker per say . He does have a beautifully scary deep warning for strangers who invade his yard this of course is a very truthful all bark and no bite. And generally lasts 3 seconds. Guard dog by sound only .

Does he walk on a lead? YES and quite beautifully. For us slow pace walkers he is perfect .
By now you're wondering Where's the BUT . and like most dogs there's always a BUT ( that's one "T" not two)
Chicko lacks some self confidence when it comes to trusting all humans . Never any form of aggression just the head down worry look . Having said that after a short week in foster care he showed great progress. Still slightly head shy however Greets you with sheer delight and complete overwhelming love . He adores belly rubs , falls asleep standing up while having his ears rubbed and often sees himself as a lap dog .
In a nutshell why would you want anyone else when you can add such character, charm and downright sexiness to your home .
