Napoleon is a handsome young man with a soft heart and a lot of love to give. Once he gets to know you, he absolutely adores attention and being close to his people.
He can be a little unsure around new people and in unfamiliar environments, so he'll need a bit of time and patience to settle in. A calm, understanding home will help him feel safe and confident as he adjusts.
Due to his sensitivity to noise, older children are recommended, as the hustle and bustle of younger kids may overwhelm him.
Napoleon is social with other dogs and actually feels more confident when he has a canine friend by his side. He would do best with another small breed companion who can help him feel secure and supported.
A secure yard with no gaps is essential, as he may try to escape if frightened or unsure.
